ÖBAG proposes Lutz Feldmann for OMV Supervisory Board
Chairman Mark Garrett will not renew term on OMV Supervisory Board
The current chairman of OMV AG’s Supervisory Board, Mark Garett, has announced that he will not be available to serve another term on the Supervisory Board, as he intends to focus on his entrepreneurial activities going forward. Edith Hlawati, the CEO of ÖBAG, expressed her gratitude to Mark Garrett for his steadfast commitment and unwavering support.
“In a time fraught with major challenges, Mark Garrett drew on his vast experience to direct the OMV Supervisory Board with the necessary foresight. Important strategic and staffing decisions were taken under his chairmanship, and he provided advice and assistance to the management during the challenges provoked by the various crises we had to face these past few years”, said Hlawati.
At the next General Shareholders’ Meeting on 31 May, ÖBAG will propose – subject to approval by the OMV Supervisory Board – an acknowledged energy expert with long years of international experience for election as new member of the Supervisory Board to the shareholders. Having held various management functions with E.ON, BP and ARAL, Lutz Feldmann is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, among other functions.
