ÖBAG: Michael Mauritz takes over communications responsibilities

Edith Hlawati will assume her role as the new CEO of ÖBAG in February 2022. For communications, Edith Hlawati has secured the services of Michael Mauritz, an experienced expert in the field. Mauritz will also take up the position of "Head of Corporate and Capital Markets Communications" on February 1st and will then be available as a contact person for national and international media.

Michael Mauritz, 54, studied business administration in Vienna, initially worked as a journalist, and later spent 25 years in management positions in communications and public affairs at Erste Group. Most recently, he was an independent communications consultant. "I am delighted to have found an expert in Michael Mauritz who brings extensive experience in communications and enjoys an excellent reputation among journalists," explained Edith Hlawati.

The current spokesperson, Melanie Laure, will take on a new position outside of ÖBAG after a transition period.
