GKB-Bergbau is implementing a managed exit from the mining industry.
As a 100% shareholding of ÖBAG, GKB-Bergbau GmbH is implementing a managed exit
from the mining industry. In addition, it is consolidating the remaining rights and obligations of
the former Österreichische Bergbauholding and carrying out the legally mandated security
and closure measures as well as recultivation. On 9.7.2024 and 9.7.2025 respectively,
SCHÖLLER-BLECKMANN Gesellschaft m.b.H. and IMIB Immobilien- und
Industriebeteiligungen GmbH were merged with GKB.
